The Film Tottenham project is now 2 years old! The project has had 27 screenings and a film festival. There have been 4 writer room sessions, 3 networking events and much more. Work shown has been a mixture between artists, filmmakers, short story performances and spoken word artists. I’ve done Q and As with approximately 50 creatives so far. I have so many plans for Film Tottenham going into 2025 and hope to apply for funding also. The community that we are starting to build is full of amazing people interested in art, film and beyond. I’m very grateful that we have had support from the Beehive as a venue and their amazing team. This year itself was the first year of a film festival and also an arts festival screening too. More local businesses are expressing support for Film Tottenham and it’s very nice to give back to the public and artistic community. We recently had a shout out from “Shooting people” and were displayed amongst some really amazing indie festivals on their projector screen at an event. I had no idea about this so the word of mouth must be spreading which is just swell :)!!
