I’m currently applying to develop my skillset in mixed media, specifically Immersive spatial video and audio technology. After dipping my toe in the water I really feel this technology is a powerful tool for the right endeavours. My application to the Arts Council will be sent next week and I’ll hear back in March. I’ve called in reference favours from some incredible collaborations (and people) during my time as an independent filmmaker and artist. Fingers crossed that the funding comes through to explore this medium and add an extra string to the bow. It’s incredibly competitive so a few late nights have been pulled for the funding application!
